You know the basics, now go to the next level with a hat knit in the round. Learn to make an (optional) pom pom to top off your new hat! There will be knitting homework between the two class meetings. Please bring 200 yards worsted weight yarn, 16” circular needles size 7 and a set of double pointed needles size 7.

Several art techniques will be taught and practiced to show how art can be used to help relieve stress. Art techniques will be different in both workshops so you can sign up for one or both! Beginning Pottery - 136231

An introduction to the techniques of handbuilding and wheel throwing. Surface design and glazing techniques will also be covered in order for students to create functional pieces of pottery or decorative sculptures. Classes are designed to be repeated in order for students to firmly grasp the concepts that make working with clay so exciting yet challenging. All levels welcome. Class fee includes instruction, glazes and kiln firing. Clay available for purchase at first class, prices range from $10-$11 per 25lb. bag.
